3731. It was narrated from Ibn Juraij, he said: "Aṭā informed me from Jābir, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'Close your door and mention the Name of Allāh, for the Shaitān cannot open a closed door. Extinguish your lamps and mention the Name of Allāh, and put something over your vessels, even if it is just a stick, and mention the Name of Allāh, and tie up your waterskins and mention the Name of Allāh.'" (Ṣaḥīh)
3731 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَغْلِقْ بَابَكَ وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ اللَّهِ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَفْتَحُ بَابًا مُغْلَقًا، وَأَطْفِ مِصْبَاحَكَ وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ اللَّهِ، وَخَمِّرْ إِنَاءَكَ وَلَوْ بِعُودٍ تَعْرِضُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ اللَّهِ، وَأَوْكِ سِقَاءَكَ وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ اللَّهِ»
