English translation

3747. It was narrated that Jābir said: "When the Prophet ﷺ arrived in Al-Madinah, he slaughtered a camel or a cow." (Ṣaḥīḥ)

Arabic text

3747 - حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: «لَمَّا قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ، نَحَرَ جَزُورًا أَوْ بَقَرَةً»
