Text and translation

English translation

3781. (There is another chain) from Abū Dāwūd with his chain.[1] He said: "And the Prophet ﷺ liked the foreleg. Some poison was put in the foreleg, and he thought that it was the Jews who had poisoned it." (Sahih)

Arabic text

3781 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ: «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْجِبُهُ الذِّرَاعُ» قَالَ: «وَسُمَّ فِي الذِّرَاعِ وَكَانَ يَرَى أَنَّ الْيَهُودَ هُمْ سَمُّوهُ»
