English translation

3970. It was narrated from 'Āishah that a man prayed Qiyām at night and recited (the Qur'an) in a loud voice. The next morning the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "May Allāh have mercy on so-and-so, how many Verses he reminded me of last night when I was caused to forget them." (Ṣaḥīḥ)
