3986. It was narrated that Misda' Abū Yahyā said: "I heard Ibn 'Abbās say: 'Ubayy bin Ka'b taught me it, as the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ taught him: in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water (Hami'ah)[1] without elongating the vowel (the first 'a' in the word Hami'ah.) (Da'if)
3986 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ أَوْسٍ، عَنْ مِصْدَعٍ أَبِي يَحْيَى، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، يَقُولُ: أَقْرَأَنِي أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ كَمَا أَقْرَأَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " {فِي عَيْنٍ حَمِئَةٍ} [الكهف: 86] مُخَفَّفَةً "
