English translation
4127. It was narrated that 'Abdullāh bin 'Ukaim said: "The letter of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was read to us in the land of Juhainah, when I was a young boy: 'Do not make use of the skins or sinews of dead animals.'" (Hasan)

4127 - حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُكَيْمٍ، قَالَ: قُرِئَ عَلَيْنَا كِتَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَرْضِ جُهَيْنَةَ وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ شَابٌّ: «أَنْ لَا تَسْتَمْتِعُوا مِنَ الْمَيْتَةِ بِإِهَابٍ، وَلَا عَصَبٍ»
