4207. This report was narrated from Ibn Abjar, from Iyād bin Laqīt, from Abū Rithmah, regarding this narration. He said: “My father said to him (the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ): ‘Show me that which is on your back, for I am a Ṭābīb.’[1] He said: ‘Allāh is At-Ṭābīb, rather, you are just one who soothes. Its healer is the One Who created it.’” (Sahih)
4207 - » حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبْجَرَ، عَنْ إِيَادِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رِمْثَةَ، فِي هَذَا الْخَبَرِ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبِي: أَرِنِي هَذَا الَّذِي بِظَهْرِكَ، فَإِنِّي رَجُلٌ طَبِيبٌ، قَالَ: «اللَّهُ الطَّبِيبُ، بَلْ أَنْتَ رَجُلٌ رَفِيقٌ، طَبِيبُهَا الَّذِي خَلَقَهَا»
