English translation

4249. It was narrated from Abū Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Woe to the ‘Arabs from an evil that has approached; he will be saved who restrains his hand.” (Da'īf)

Arabic text

4249 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ، أَفْلَحَ مَنْ كَفَّ يَدَهُ»
