English translation

4313. It was narrated from Hafs:çtLJ bin 'Asim that AbU Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah ii said: 'Soon the Euphrates will uncover a treasure of gold. Whoever is present (at that time) should not take anything from it." () YARI IiI 4314.A similar report was narrated from Al-A'raj, from AbU Hurairah, from the Prophet except that he said: "It will uncover a mountain of gold." (Sahih)

4313 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ السَّكُونِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يُوشِكُ الْفُرَاتُ أَنْ يَحْسِرَ عَنْ كَنْزٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، فَمَنْ حَضَرَهُ فَلَا يَأْخُذْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا»
