English translation

4349. It was narrated that Abū Tha'labah Al-Khushanī said: “The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: ‘Allāh will not impose too much hardship on this Ummah by delaying them for half a day (on the Day of Resurrection).’” (Sahih)

Arabic text

4349 - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَنْ يُعْجِزَ اللَّهُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ مِنْ نِصْفِ يَوْمٍ»
