English translation

4493. It was narrated from Abū Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ said: "If one of you deals blows, let him avoid the face." (Ḥasan) The End of the Book of Legal Punishments In the Name of Allāh, the MostGracious, the Most Merciful

4493 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا ضَرَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَتَّقِ الْوَجْهَ»
