(قلت: إسناده ضعيف؛ من أجل عطية- وهو العوفي-؛ قال المنذري: " هو ضعيف الحديث ". قلت: وهو مدلس أيضاً، وقد عنعن، وحديثه هذا في " صحيح البخاري " من رواية نافع عن ابن عمر بغير هذا السياق، وهو في الكتاب الأخر (رقم ٤٧٧))

452. It was reported from Ibn ‘Umar, who said: "The pillars of the Prophet’s Masjid were made of palm trunks during his time. Its roof was covered with the branches of palm trees. It then decayed during the Khilāfah of Abū Bakr, so he rebuilt it with the trunks and branches of palm trees. It then decayed during the time of ‘Uthmān, so he rebuilt it with (stone) bricks, and it has remained stable until this time." (Da’if)
452 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ فِرَاسٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، «أَنَّ مَسْجِدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَتْ سَوَارِيهِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ جُذُوعِ النَّخْلِ أَعْلَاهُ مُظَلَّلٌ بِجَرِيدِ النَّخْلِ، ثُمَّ إِنَّهَا نَخِرَتْ فِي خِلَافَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَبَنَاهَا بِجُذُوعِ النَّخْلِ وَبِجَرِيدِ النَّخْلِ، ثُمَّ إِنَّهَا نَخِرَتْ فِي خِلَافَةِ عُثْمَانَ فَبَنَاهَا بِالْآجُرِّ فَلَمْ تَزَلْ ثَابِتَةً حَتَّى الْآنَ»
