English translation

4603. It was narrated from Abū Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Opinion based arguing about the Qur'ān is Kufr." (Hasan)

Arabic text

4603 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْمِرَاءُ فِي الْقُرْآنِ كُفْرٌ»
