4714. It was narrated that Abū Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Every child is born on the Fitrah, then his parents make him a Jew or a Christian, as camels produce their young born intact; do you see any that is born with its ears cut?' They said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, what do you think if he dies when he is small?' He said: 'Allāh knows best what they would have done.” (Sahih)
4714 - حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ، فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ، كَمَا تَنَاتَجُ الْإِبِلُ مِنْ بَهِيمَةٍ جَمْعَاءَ، هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْ جَدْعَاءَ؟» قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَفَرَأَيْتَ مَنْ يَمُوتُ وَهُوَ صَغِيرٌ؟ قَالَ: «اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ»
