4746. It was narrated from Abū Hamzah, from Zaid bin Arqam, who said: “We were with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and we made a stop. He said: ‘You are just a hundred thousandth part of those who will come to me at the Hawd (Cistern).’” I said: “How many were you at that time?” He said: “Seven or eight hundred.” (Sahih)
4746 - حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ النَّمَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: فَنَزَلْنَا مَنْزِلًا، فَقَالَ: «مَا أَنْتُمْ جُزْءٌ مِنْ مِائَةِ أَلْفِ جُزْءٍ مِمَّنْ يَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ» قَالَ: قُلْتُ: كَمْ كُنْتُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟ قَالَ: «سَبْعُ مِائَةٍ أَوْ ثَمَانِ مِائَةٍ»
