English translation

4771. It was narrated from 'Abdullãh bin 'Amr that the Prophet said: "If a person's wealth is sought unlawfully, and he fights and is killed, he is a martyr." (Sahih) 3, Ji L I fiJI

Arabic text

4771 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ حَسَنٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ أُرِيدَ مَالُهُ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ فَقَاتَلَ فَقُتِلَ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»
