Text and translation

English translation

4937. It was narrated that Yahyā bin ‘Abdur-Raḥmān bin Ḥātib said: ‘Aīshah said: “We came to Al-Madīnah and stayed among Banū Al-Ḥārīth bin Al-Khazraj.” She said: “By Allāh, I was on a swing between two palm trees when my mother came and brought me down, and my hair only came down to my ears.” And he quoted the same Hadīth (as no. 4935). (Hasan)

4937 - حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا " فَقَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ فَنَزَلْنَا فِي بَنِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ، قَالَتْ: فَوَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَعَلَى أُرْجُوحَةٍ بَيْنَ عِذْقَيْنِ فَجَاءَتْنِي أُمِّي فَأَنْزَلَتْنِي وَلِي جُمَيْمَةٌ " وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ
