English translation
5014. A similar report (as no. 5013) was narrated from Abū Hurairah, and he added: "He was afraid that he would refer to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, so he allowed him (to continue)." (Sahih)

5014 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، بِمَعْنَاهُ زَادَ «فَخَشِيَ أَنْ يَرْمِيَهُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَجَازَهُ»
