5180. It was narrated from Busr bin Sa'eed, from Abū Sa'eed Al-Khudrī, who said: "I was sitting in one of the gatherings of the Anṣār when Abū Mūsā came, looking upset. We said to him: 'What has upset you?' He said: "Umar bin Al-Khaṭṭāb told me to come to him, so I went to him and asked permission to enter three times, but he did not give me permission, so I returned.' He said: 'What kept you from coming to me?'" I said: 'I did come to you, and I asked permission to enter three times, but permission was not given to me, and the Prophet ﷺ said: "If one of you seeks permission to enter three times, and permission is not given to him, let him go back.” He said: ‘You must bring me proof of that.’ Abū Sa‘eed said: “No one but the youngest of the people will go with you.” And Abū Sa‘eed got up and went with him, and testified for him.
