5195. It was narrated that 'Imrān bin Ḥuṣain said: "A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'As-Salāmu 'alaikum (peace be upon you)' and he returned the greeting, then he sat down. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Ten.' Another man came, and said: 'As-Salāmu 'alaikum wa raḥmatullāh (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allāh),' and he returned the greeting, then he sat down. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Twenty.' Another man came and said: 'As-Salāmu 'alaikum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuhu (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allāh and His blessings),' and he returned the greeting, then he sat down. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Thirty.'" (Ḥasan)
