English translation

5202. It was narrated that Thâbit said: "Anas said: 'The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ passed by some boys who were playing, and he greeted them with Salâm.'" (Ṣaḥīḥ)

Arabic text

5202 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَنَسٌ: " أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: عَلَى غِلْمَانٍ يَلْعَبُونَ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ "
