Text and translation

English translation

523. It was reported from 'Abdur-Raḥmān bin Jubair, from 'Abdullāh bin 'Amr bin Al-'Ās, that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "When you hear the Mu'adh-dhin, then say just as he says, and send your salutations upon me, for he who sends one salutation upon me, Allāh will send ten upon him because of it. Then, ask Allāh to grant me the Wasilah, for it is a station in Paradise which will not be conferred except upon one of Allāh's worshipers, and I hope that I am that one. Whoever asks Allāh to (grant) me the Wasilah, he will attain (my) intercession (on the Day of Judgment).” (Saḥīḥ)
