Text and translation

English translation

5258. This Hadīth, (similar to no. 5257) was narrated in brief (with another chain) from Ibn 'Ajlān, and he said: "Let him warn it three times, then if it appears to him again, let him kill it, for it is a devil." (Sahīh)

Arabic text

5258 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ مُخْتَصَرًا، قَالَ: «فَلْيُؤْذِنْهُ ثَلَاثًا فَإِنْ بَدَا لَهُ بَعْدُ فَلْيَقْتُلْهُ فَإِنَّهُ شَيْطَانٌ»
