Text and translation

English translation

742. It was reported from Mālik, from Nāfi', that 'Abdullāh bin 'Umar would raise his hands to the level of his shoulders when he began the prayer. And when he raised his head up after the Rukū', he would raise them (to a level) lower than that. (Saḥīh) Abū Dāwūd said: As far as I know, no one mentioned that he would raise them to a lower level except Mālik.
