English translation

750. (There is another chain) that Sufyān narrated from Yazīd similar to the narration of Sharīk (no. 749), but he did not say: "...then he would not repeat (that)." (Da'if) Sufyān said: "Afterwards, in Al-Kūfah, he (Yazīd) said to us: "Then he would not repeat (that)." Abū Dāwūd said: Hushaim, Khālīd, and Ibn Idrīs reported this Hadīth from Yazīd, and they did not mention: "Then he would not repeat (that)."

750 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ شَرِيكٍ، لَمْ يَقُلْ: «ثُمَّ لَا يَعُودُ»، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: قَالَ لَنَا بِالْكُوفَةِ بَعْدُ «ثُمَّ لَا يَعُودُ» قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: وَرَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ هُشَيْمٌ، وَخَالِدٌ، وَابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا «ثُمَّ لَا يَعُودُ»،

Al-Hāfīz Ibn Hajar writes that the scholars and Huffāz agree that the words "then he would not repeat that" are not correct in this narration.
