783. It was reported from Abū Al-Jawzā’ from ‘Aishah, that she said: “The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would start the prayer with the Takbīr, and by reciting: All praise is due to Allāh, the Lord of all that exists...[2] And when he would go into Rukū’, he would not raise his head, nor would he hang it down, but it would be between these two (extremes). And when he would raise his head up from Rukū’, he would not go into prostration until he would stand up straight. And when he would raise his head up from prostration, he would not go into prostration until he had sat down perfectly. And he would say the Taḥiyāt after every two Rak’ahs. And when he would sit, he would place his left foot horizontally (on the ground), and
his right one would be straight (vertical). And he would forbid the squatting of Shaitān,[1] and the spreading of the predator.[2] And he would complete the prayer with the Taslīm.” (Sahīh)
