84. It was narrated from AbU Zaid, from 'Abdullah bin Mas'Ud that the Prophet ; asked him on the 'Night of the Jinn': "What is inside your Idãwah?"12 ' He replied: "Nabidh." The Prophet said, "Wholesome dates, and pure water." (Da'ij) (One of the narrators) Sulaimãn bin Dãwud said: "From Abu Zaid, or Zaid' - this is how Shank said it." And Hannãd (another of those who narrated it) did not mention: "on the 'Night of the Jinn'." (Da'iJ)
84 - حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْعَتَكِيُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي فَزَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ لَيْلَةَ الْجِنِّ: «مَا فِي إِدَاوَتِكَ؟»، قَالَ: نَبِيذٌ، قَالَ: «تَمْرَةٌ طَيِّبَةٌ وَمَاءٌ طَهُورٌ»، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: وَقَالَ: سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ، أَوْ زَيْدٍ، كَذَا قَالَ شَرِيكٌ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ هَنَّادٌ لَيْلَةَ الْجِنِّ
