English translation

85. 'Alqamah said: "I asked 'Abdullāh bin Mas'ūd: 'Who among you was with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ on the 'Night of the Jinn'?' He replied: 'None of us were with him.'" (Sahih)

Arabic text

85 - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ: مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةَ الْجِنِّ؟، فَقَالَ: «مَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنَّا أَحَدٌ»
