English translation
1040. Umm Salamah narrated: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would sit for a short period of time after the Taslīm, and they used to think that the reason he did so was to allow the women to leave before the men." (Sahih)

1040 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ هِنْدِ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ مَكَثَ قَلِيلًا، وَكَانُوا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ، كَيْمَا يَنْفُذُ النِّسَاءُ قَبْلَ الرِّجَالِ»
