Text and translation

English translation

11. Marwān Al-Aṣfar narrated: "I saw Ibn 'Umar make his camel sit down facing the Qiblah, after which he sat (behind it) and urinated in its direction. So I said: 'O Abū 'Abdur-Raḥmān, has this (act) not been prohibited?' He replied: 'Yes, but it has been prohibited only in an open space. However, if there is something that is between you and the Qiblah, blocking you (from it), then there is no harm.'" (Ḍa'if)
