Text and translation

English translation

1115. It was reported from ‘Amr, who is Ibn Dīnār, from Jābir that a man entered on Friday while the Prophet ﷺ was delivering the Khutbah. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Have you prayed, O so-and-so?" He replied: "No." So the Prophet ﷺ said: "Stand up and pray." (Saḥīh)

1115 - حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو وَهُوَ ابْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ، فَقَالَ: «أَصَلَّيْتَ يَا فُلَانُ؟» قَالَ: لَا، قَالَ: «قُمْ فَارْكَعْ»
