Text and translation

English translation

1122. It was reported from Ḥabīb bin Sālim, from An-Nu'mān bin Bashīr that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to recite during the two 'Eid and on Friday: Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High[1] and: Has there come to you the narration of Overwhelming (the Day of Resurrection)?[2] And sometimes both (Friday and 'Eid) would fall on the same day, so he would still recite both of them. (Sāḥih)
