English translation

1154. Umar bin Al-Khaṭṭāb asked Abū Wāqid Al-Laithī: "What did the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to recite during (the two Eid of) Al-Adha and Al-Fitr?" He said: "He would recite in them, Qāf. By the Glorious Qur'an[1] and: The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder."[2] (Sahih)
