Text and translation

English translation

1189. It was reported from Zaid bin Aslam, from 'Aṭā' bin Yasār, from Ibn 'Abbās, who said: "There was an eclipse, so the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ prayed while the people (prayed) with him. He stood for a long time, similar to (the length it takes to recite) Sūrat Al-Baqarah, then he bowed..." and he continued with the narration. (Sahīh)
