Text and translation

English translation

1207. Nāfi' reported that Ibn 'Umar was informed of the death of Sāfiyyah while he was in Makkah. He traveled until the sun set and the stars appeared. He said: "When the Prophet ﷺ was in a hurry during his journey, he would combine between these (meaning Maghrib and 'Ishā') two prayers, and would continue traveling until the twilight disappeared." (Sāhiḥ)
