English translation
1476. Az-Zuhri said (regarding the different modes of recitation): "These Ahruf are all of the same meanings; they do not differ with regards to what is allowed and what is prohibited." (Sahih)

1476 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، قَالَ: قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: «إِنَّمَا هَذِهِ الْأَحْرُفُ فِي الْأَمْرِ الْوَاحِدِ، لَيْسَ تَخْتَلِفُ فِي حَلَالٍ وَلَا حَرَامٍ»
