English translation
1524. Abdullāh (bin Mas'ūd) narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would like to supplicate thrice, and seek forgiveness thrice. (Da'if)

1524 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُعْجِبُهُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ ثَلَاثًا، وَيَسْتَغْفِرَ ثَلَاثًا»
