English translation

1537. It was reported from Abū Burdah bin ‘Abdullāh, that his father narrated to him that when he was afraid of (the evil of) a people, the Prophet ﷺ would say: “Allāhumma! Innā naj’aluka fī nuhurihim wan a’ūduhū bika min shurūrihim (O Allāh! We place you at their chests, and we seek refuge in You from their evil).” (Da’if)
