Text and translation

English translation

1592. It was reported from Muḥammad bin Ishāq who said, in interpreting this Hadith: “This means that the charity should be collected at the places they (i.e., the animals) pasture, and that they should not be brought to the collector. And ‘Janab’ (distancing oneself) from this obligation (is also prohibited) — meaning that a person should not distance himself from the collector, by going to the farthest areas (of the town). Rather, it should be taken from its place.” (Hasan)
