English translation

1693. Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Whoever is pleased that his wealth increase, and his life extended, should nurture the ties of kinship.” (Šahīh)

Arabic text

1693 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٌ، وَيَعْقُوبُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثُهُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يُبْسَطَ عَلَيْهِ فِي رِزْقِهِ، وَيُنْسَأَ فِي أَثَرِهِ، فَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ»
