1967. (Another chain) from Sulaimān bin 'Amr bin Al-Ahwaṣ, from his mother, she said: "I saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ at Jamrat Al-'Aqabah, on his mount. And I saw pebbles in between his fingers, and when he threw, the people threw.” (Da'if)
1967 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ثَوْرٍ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، وَوَهْبُ بْنُ بَيَانٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، قَالَتْ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَ جَمْرَةِ الْعَقَبَةِ رَاكِبًا وَرَأَيْتُ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ حَجَرًا فَرَمَى، وَرَمَى النَّاسُ ".

The word Hajaran (stones) in this Hadīth has been translated as “pebbles.” This translation is consistent with the word Ḥaṣa (pebbles) in other Aḥādīth.
