English translation

2004. It was reported from Al-Walīd bin 'Abdur-Raḥmān, from Al-Hārīth bin 'Abdullāh bin Aws, who said: "I went to 'Umar bin Al-Khaṭṭāb and asked him regarding a woman who performs the Tawāf of the House on the Day of Sacrifice, and then her starts menses. He said: 'Let the last act that she does be the Tawāf.'" So Al-Hārīth said: "And that is exactly what the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ told me as well." 'Umar said: 'Woe to you! You asked me regarding a matter that you had already asked the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ?! (And was it not possible) that I would contradict him?" (Ṣaḥīh)
