219. Abū Rāfi' reported that the Prophet ﷺ went around to all his wives one day, performing Ghusl at each one's (house). I asked him: "O Messenger of Allāh! Why do you not perform one Ghusl?" He said: "This is purer, and better, and cleaner." (Hasan) Abū Dāwūd said: The Hadīth of Anas is more correct than this one.
219 - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ سَلْمَى، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَافَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ، يَغْتَسِلُ عِنْدَ هَذِهِ وَعِنْدَ هَذِهِ»، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لَهُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَلَا تَجْعَلُهُ غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا، قَالَ: «هَذَا أَزْكَى وَأَطْيَبُ وَأَطْهَرُ»، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: وَحَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ أَصَحُّ مِنْ هَذَا
