English translation

2380. Abū Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Whoever is overcome with vomiting, there is no making up upon him, but if he vomits intentionally, then he must make it up.' (Da'if) Abū Dāwūd said: This was also reported by Ḥafṣ bin Ghiyāth from Hishām.

2380 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ ذَرَعَهُ قَيْءٌ، وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ، فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ قَضَاءٌ، وَإِنْ اسْتَقَاءَ فَلْيَقْضِ»، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: رَوَاهُ أَيْضًا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ مِثْلَهُ
