English translation

2382. It was reported from Al-Aswad and 'Alqamah, from 'Aishah, that she said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to kiss and embrace while fasting, but He had most control over his desire." (Sahih)

Arabic text

2382 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، وَعَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «يُقَبِّلُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ وَيُبَاشِرُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ، وَلَكِنَّهُ كَانَ أَمْلَكَ لِإِرْبِهِ»
