2453. It was reported from Mu'ādḥah, who said: "I said to 'Aishah: 'Did the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ fast three days every month?' She said: 'Yes.' I said: 'Which days of the month would he fast?' She said: 'He was not specific about any particular day of the month he fasted.'" (Sahih)
2453 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ: أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ، قَالَتْ: «نَعَمْ»، قُلْتُ: مِنْ أَيِّ شَهْرٍ كَانَ يَصُومُ، قَالَتْ: «مَا كَانَ يُبَالِي مِنْ أَيِّ أَيَّامِ الشَّهْرِ كَانَ يَصُومُ»
