English translation

2555. It was reported from Suhail bin Abī Šāliḥ, from his father, from Abu Hurairah who said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'The angels do not accompany a group who have a dog, or a bell.'" (Sahih)

Arabic text

2555 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَصْحَبُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ رِفْقَةً فِيهَا كَلْبٌ أَوْ جَرَسٌ»
