2615. It was reported from Nāfi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ burnt and cut down the date-palm trees of Banū An-Nadīr which were at Al-Buwaīrah. So Allāh, the Mighty and Majestic, revealed: "What you (O Muslims) cut down of the palm-trees (of the enemy)..."[1] (Sahih)
2615 - حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّقَ نَخْلَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ وَقَطَعَ وَهِيَ البُوَيْرَةُ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {مَا قَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ لِينَةٍ أَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا} [الحشر: 5] "
