Text and translation

English translation

2640. It was reported from Abū Hurairah, who said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'I have been ordered to fight the people until they say; "Lā ilāha illallāh (None has the right to be worshiped but Allāh)." When they say that, their blood and wealth will be safe from me — except by its right — and thier reckoning is upon Allāh, the Mighty and Sublime.” (Sahih)
