English translation

2642. (Another chain) from Anas bin Mālik who said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'I have been ordered to fight the idolators'" with its meaning (Similar to no. 2641). (Sahih)

Arabic text

2642 - حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَهْرِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ» بِمَعْنَاهُ
